Random Josie Moments!

So Josie is starting to do really well with her fork and spoon. Thanks to Cortney, watermelon has become one of her favorite fruits.



We bought some bows for Josie's hair to go with some of her new dresses. She wanted me to put them all in at the same time. She also picked where I should pit them. She is such a ham.

I love the expression on her face. It's like Kung Fu baby.


Where did her arms go?



We believe Josie is a little OCD. She takes things out of the cabinets and is very particular about where things are placed.



One of her favorite new games is hide n seek. Her favorite place to hide is her closet.



Here she is on her rocking horse that Rich's Grandfather made her. She can already climb onto it all by herself.

With her Daddy on his birthday. She is still mesmerized my the candles and will not help blow them out.

4th of July

My sister and Eddie visited us for 4th of July weekend.
Here are some of the pics.
I don't know how I missed getting a picture with Eddie in it. Josie spent the time during the fireworks crawling into everyones laps and pointing out the fireworks to them. I guess she wanted to make sure no one missed anything.

If it isn't obvious by now, I am the photographer in my family. As you can see from the following pictures I am almost always the only one that takes pictures.

Easter

Well Easter was the day after Josie's party and things seemed to go a little bit better. I think it might have had something to do with all the new toys she had to play with.


She loves the play center thing my parents got her. It also has a spanish setting which still confuses her but hopefully it will help later on.


This is the giraffe that Stacey and Keno gave her. Unfortunately she carries it by the tail. I'm trying to teach her a nicer way to carry it but she likes this method for now.



This is the Zoo that Aunt Cortney and Uncle Eddie sent. She adsolutely adores it and is already trying to figure out how it spins.



And finally the real Easter pictures. We didn't really do an egg hunt this year but she seemed to like playing with the eggs.

Josie's 1st Birthday

Sorry these are a little late but at least I'm getting them out there.
We had a party for Josie the Saturday after her birthday so that people could make it.

Unfortunately Josie was not in a good mood that day and had been up for most of the night before. She is teething yet again, tooth #9 poped through yesterday. No I am not making this up my 1 year old already has half of her teeth. Of course you can't see this in the pictures from her birthday because she kept putting her pacifer in her mouth. Oh well, that's life!

We just decorated the kitchen because it seemed easiest. And of course the theme was Winnie the Pooh!

I was kind of disappointed because she didn't make a big mess with her cake. I mean seriously you should see her after eating pizza.

This was the first of many drink breaks that she had to take during opening presents. She got her first Starbucks cup from Grandpop, don't worry it's only water.

Zoo Trip & Valentine's Day!

So we went to the Zoo last week and Josie loved the giraffe the best. It seems like we stayed there looking at them forever.



There is a nice play area for the kids. I got her to hold still long enough for this picture.
