New baby!

Here is the first picture of our new addition. We can't wait to find out if it's a boy or girl. Now that Josie has seen the ultrasound, she is starting to believe that there is a baby in there.

Prescott Valley Balloon Festival 2011

We had so much fun this weekend in Prescott. I think our favorite part was that it was almost 30 degrees cooler there. We got to see 18 balloons go up the first day, It got to windy the second day for any of them to go up but Josie did get to go inside one of the balloons that they attempted to send up. We also went to the little fair in town and Josie was old enough and tall enough to ride the rides by herself. I can't believe how big she is getting.

This was by far her favorite ride. She went on it multiple times and finally stopped calling it a choo-choo and called it a train. She tried to be the driver every time.

Check Josie out on the elephant ride. All by herself again!

Rich went with her on the bear ride and thank God he did because her arm got caught when she was spinning it and she fell on the floor. No injuries but she was very excited to tell me the story when she got off.

Saturday morning Josie was not super excited to be woken up early. But after this picture she really got excited about being there. She told everyone. "Balloons up, Balloons down." She has already learned the important lesson what goes up, must come down.

This is the balloon we were there with. Dan the pilot is in the balloon and his wife, Laurie is helping get it up right. You can see Rich to the left of the picture.

Dan really had to work to get his balloon to clear the one below.

Josie and Maddy in the balloon the second day. Normally you can't walk inside balloons, it does to much damage. This group brought one of their old balloons so that all the tourists could see the inside of a balloon since none of the balloons were able to fly do to high winds.

I think my family has fallen in love with ballooning. It looks like we may be taking a trip to Albuquerque in October for the big festival there. A few hundred balloons are involved with that festival and it's supposed to me absolutely amazing to see.
